Hibernian are delighted to reveal that the 3G pitch at Hibernian Training Centre is in the process of being resurfaced.

Work started at the end of April to resurface the 3G surface at HTC, which was approaching ten years old. Following being named as an Elite Academy in November, the new accredited 3G surface will add to a list of factors making the Hibernian Academy elite.

The new surface is expected to be completed by mid-May. Until then, all Academy training and matches have been switched to the grass. The Academy would like to give a special mention to Head of Ground Maintenance, Alan Bain, and his staff who have ensured the Academy training schedules have been unaffected during this period.

The new pitch at HTC is another statement of intent from Hibernian as their Academy continues to blossom.
